Inside the Glass

It's said I'm just the tortoise, well I feel like a hare
Inside the glass kills hope, an activation to my true genes, its callings
My word can't help myself, a distant friend lends their ear
My word like an anvil held by wire, a lonely tear.
Yet I am surrounded, by the friend or two, they see through and through, I can't get through to you, until you see my worst, until I swallow my pride, until I give myself the space this doesn't provide
Have more and more and more, it's far below the grass, you'll end up on your ass/in a grave/in a bed with wires into your head, it's a way to behave if you cannot find yourself inside. The fragile young minds.

Here Lies A Mirror

And if you see me all alone, don't ask me questions, pass me by.
And if you see a teardrop fall, please would you bury both my eyes?
You're everything I wanted in a caregiver, a friend, a soul, a life. Though tangible so evil and salvation is right in my hand, I have this False Face and it's quite over yet. To be continued.
